About me

I write code, professionally and occasionally for fun. At my $DAYJOB I write web apps, mostly in React.

I have recently taken a liking to low level programming, in particular, compilers.

Languages

At my $DAYJOB, I mostly write code in TypeScript. I however love writing C and Rust when it comes to personal projects.

Projects

SandDB: An LSM tree backed key-value store, written in Rust.
- Custom file format for data storage.
- WAL (Write-ahead-logging) based crash recovery.
- Custom LRU cache implementation.

one: A compiler for a Rust-like language, in C.

Personal computing

I do all my personal computing on GNU/Linux. I like to limit programs on them to free (as in "freedom") software. Although, I am not Richard Stallman and I occasionally do use proprietory software when neccessary.

Social

I am not good at dealing with people and have moderate social anxiety. In person, you might face awkward moments when interacting with me.

Please be patient with me, I need time to get comfortable with people. I can text and e-mail confidently just fine though.
